Part of what we’re trying to do here at Progress and Problems is connecting people to ways they can get involved in making a real difference in the world, not just talking about what’s wrong. If you have some time on your hands, I can’t recommend reading this journal (or atleast part of it) enough.

The Protection Project is “a human rights institute based at The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, DC. Founded in 1994 to address trafficking in persons as a human rights violation, The Protection Project focuses on the promotion of human rights values throughout the world.”

If you’ve ever thought about human trafficking and wanted more information about what it means for society, and how we can start to eliminate it and protect children around the world… The Protection Project is a great place to start. There’s tons of information and resources for you there.
